Fram Forum is published once a year and disseminates the activity in the Fram Center to an international and national audience.

The publication, which is written in English, has its own ISSN number and is published both digitally and on paper and on its own website; framforum.com. In 2021, it is ready for the tenth edition.

In terms of content, the magazine is divided into the following substance categories:

• Research Notes

• Education

• Outreach

• A letter

• Retrospectice

• Editorial

• Profile

Important dates

Deadline for proposals for articles 2021 edition: Wednesday 30 September 2020.

Deadline for submission of finished articles: 10 December 2020.

Scheduled release 2021 edition (paper and digital): Week 11, 2021

 

Proposals must include the following:

Working title.

Short description of content.

Relevance to Framsenteret’s research portfolio (flagships / programs)

Short description of suggestions for photos / illustrations / graphic elements.

Author (s) and institutions.

 

Priorities

We prioritize the articles that are based on research done within or in connection with the flagships / research programs in the Fram Center.

 

Language and proofreading

The articles can be written in English or Norwegian. Norwegian articles will be translated into English, in consultation with the author.

Please note that the last round of proofreading must be done in both word and pdf. This is because proofreading in the word format serves as the basis for the online edition.

 

Accepted contributions

Authors / institutions that have received presumed proposal (s) will be notified of this no later than Tuesday 15 October.

 

Cross publishing

Framsenteret AS, as publisher, reserves the right to publish finished articles on its own channels, member institutions’ channels and in publications with which Framsenteret collaborates.
