Short bio: Dr. Liaghati is the manager of MITRE Atlas’ Trustworthy and Secure AI Department, focusing on threats to AI systems. She leads a team of more than 50 scientists and engineers who collaborate with industry, government, and academia to develop and share AI security tools and frameworks. Liaghati’s areas of expertise include AI interpretability, reliability, robustness, safety, and privacy enhancement.

Dr. Liaghati has worked across the international community for years to expand the broader industry and government community capabilities and understanding of AI security. Her work now spans the broader landscape of trustworthy AI acceleration, including AI performance, reliability, robustness, security, interpretability, and privacy enhancement.
